Read "When Bright Girls Decide That Math is a Waste of Time" by Susan Jacoby, pages 140-142 in The McGraw-Hill Reader and "America Skips School" by Benjamin Barber, pages 153-162 in The McGraw-Hill Reader in preparation for Tuesday's seminar.
